Pack Family Camping
When a boy and his family join Cub Scouting, they join an organization that values the fun and excitement of experiencing the outdoors. It is very important to our Pack's leadership that we provide our young scouts (and their families!) with enriching, positive outdoor activities. In addition to the camping opportunities provided by our local Sam Houston Area Council (Day CampResident Camp and Adventure Camp), family camping is a great opportunity to experience the outdoors like you may never have done before (or - if you're an experienced camper, it's a wonderful opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with others!).

As part of our annual Pack program (included in registration fees for all Scouts), we typically organize attendance at one Council weekend camping trip ("Adventure Camp") and also plan two Pack family camping trips to area state or national parks each year. These are always some of the most exciting parts of our Pack's annual program.

Once dates and reservations are determined, a camping committee (made up of parent volunteers) plans a program of activities as well as menus and logistics, and provides all the necessary information here on this page.

Upcoming trips:

Nature has top billing at this park. Be sure to bring your walking shoes, binoculars, camera, and definitely your bicycle!
