Cub Scout Families:

hurricane harvey houston flood volunteer support

After a very anxious couple of days, waters are receding in our immediate neighborhood, and most of us are dry and safe. I hope that is true for all our extended pack family. On behalf of the Cub Scout Pack 354 leadership, I hope that everyone is doing OK, and that Harvey hasn't hit you too hard. Please let us know how and whether we can help you if you need it.

For those that are in a position to lend a helping hand, this is an opportunity and a call to service. I will be delivering donations downtown this afternoon. I encourage you all to consider whether you have any of the following items which are in short supply at various shelters including the George R. brown convention center, currently housing nearly 10,000 people:

Bottles, baby wipes, baby food, diapers, blankets, pillows, towels, sanitary items, toothbrushes and toothpaste, body wash, deodorant, first-aid items like Tylenol, bandaids, antibiotic ointment

Call, text, or email me and I will gladly come pick up items that you have to donate. Everything helps.

Cubmaster Dan
